Responsibilities
In this Asset Protection role, you’ll be responsible for the full spectrum of security operations at the Moncton distribution centre. From monitoring the gatehouse to conducting investigations, every shift plays a direct role in protecting Walmart’s associates, assets, and property.
- Gatehouse operations: Inbound and outbound verification of loads, seals, and paperwork, including Gemini/YMS data entry
- Perimeter access control: Managing the front counter and main entrance to ensure only authorized personnel enter the facility
- CCTV surveillance: Monitoring camera systems to detect and document any suspicious activity or security concerns
- Alarm monitoring: Overseeing burglar and fire alarm systems, responding promptly to any alerts
- Incident reporting: Documenting all security incidents, including theft, property damage, and security breaches with accuracy and thoroughness
- Inspections and audits: Performing regular safety checks, compliance audits, and responding to accidents and emergencies
