Dispatcher – FedEx – Mississauga, ON

This position plays a critical role in monitoring and coordinating Pickup and Delivery operations to ensure maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction. About the Role: Dispatcher

The Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring and coordinating courier coverage by applying geographical and route knowledge to assignments. This role ensures efficient workload allocation, optimal customer service, and compliance with company standards. It requires strong decision-making skills, familiarity with dispatch operations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, regular position that may include weekend shifts and float responsibilities. Candidates should be ready to manage multiple priorities while supporting field operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate Pickup and Delivery coverage for efficiency and service quality.
• Assign routes using geographical and operational knowledge to optimize coverage.
• Compile and analyze data to make workload and resource allocation decisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 18 months of FedEx experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of dispatch service areas and FedEx systems (Cosmos/KIAC/FAMIS) is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends.
