About the Role: Directs Store Delivery Associate
As a Directs Store Delivery Associate, your primary focus is on the timely and accurate processing of shipments arriving at the store. You’ll coordinate with the Operations Manager and other team members to ensure merchandise flows from the receiving area to the salesfloor without delay. Your attention to detail and commitment to proper documentation will help maintain inventory accuracy and product quality.
You’ll also play an important role in training other DSD Associates, upholding safety procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized receiving area. Following Walmart Canada’s guidelines for backdoor security, key controls, and compliance is a critical part of the job.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.80 per hour, with the actual rate determined based on relevant experience. Responsibilities
Working as a Directs Store Delivery Associate at Walmart Victoria means you’re at the centre of the store’s receiving and inventory operations. Your day-to-day work directly supports the salesfloor team by ensuring merchandise arrives accurately, is stored safely, and reaches customers on time.
- Secure high-ticket merchandise in designated locations to prevent loss and ensure proper inventory controls
- Process direct and local shipments promptly, including OMNI merchandise, alcohol deliveries, and incoming warehouse trailers
- Train DSD Associates on all receiving area processes to maintain consistency and compliance across the team
- Maintain a clean receiving area by preparing returns, claims, and MTRs with all required documentation for timely shipment
- Follow and promote safety rules for lifting procedures, box blades, pallet jacks, ladders, and other equipment
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Office Support Associate to identify and resolve problems or discrepancies
- Safeguard backdoor and key controls to ensure full compliance with Company guidelines
- Ensure cold chain compliance by documenting all required information on the Receiving Temperature Log and Sure Check App
