Costco Wholesale Canada is hiring a reliable Delivery Driver for its E. Gwillimbury Business Centre (18182 Yonge Street). In this role, you’ll operate a commercial truck with air brakes and a hydraulic lift to deliver merchandise directly to members’ businesses. Responsibilities include unloading orders, collecting payments, issuing return credits, and completing all required paperwork.

About the Role: Delivery Driver
As a Delivery Driver, you will begin each shift by reviewing your route sheet, truck assignment, invoices, and required equipment. Before departure, you will perform a safety inspection of the vehicle and check loaded pallets for accuracy, including cooler and frozen items. Safety equipment, such as pallet straps, must be used when necessary.
Your daily tasks will include driving the truck, unloading merchandise with a pallet jack or hand truck, verifying deliveries with members, and obtaining signatures and payments. You’ll also handle substitutions, issue return receipts, and coordinate with the Business Centre for missing or damaged items. At the end of each shift, paperwork and payments must be turned in, and returned items must be processed. Flexibility to assist in other Fleet Department or Business Centre operations is also required.

Requirements / Skills
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Licenses: Ontario – Valid Class D license with Air Brake (Z) endorsement. Quebec – Valid Class 3 license with Air Brake (F) endorsement.
- Certification: Costco Food Safety Certification – Level 1 required.
- Experience: Commercial driving and delivery experience preferred. Business Centre experience is a plus.
- Skills: Safe, responsible driving, knowledge of traffic laws, map-reading ability, customer service, and familiarity with delivery areas.
- Language: For Quebec postings, candidates must communicate in French (oral and written).
