About the Role: Dairy Frozen Associate

As a Dairy Frozen Associate at Walmart Tsawwassen, your day-to-day work centres on keeping the dairy and frozen food department fully stocked, properly zoned, and compliant with all food safety standards. You’ll rotate stock, check expiry dates, and make sure every product on the floor is correctly signed and priced. Benefits and Salary

The minimum starting wage for this position is $18.00 per hour. Responsibilities

The Dairy Frozen Associate role covers a range of important tasks that keep one of the store’s busiest sections in top shape. From managing product rotation to upholding food safety protocols, every responsibility plays a direct role in the customer experience and store operations.

• Zone the department regularly to keep product displays neat, fully stocked, and customer-ready
• Rotate stock and check for expired or near-expiry products to ensure freshness and safety
• Verify pricing and signage to ensure all merchandise is properly labelled and priced on the floor
• Maintain cold chain compliance including thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and proper food handling procedures
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards including cleaning procedures for the dairy and frozen area
• Process ordering, clearance, and markups/markdowns following proper store procedures for signing, flagging, and labelling
• Maintain department features and ensure the area is free of clutter, debris, foreign objects, and liquids
