Responsibilities

• Zone the department to maintain proper product placement and a tidy, shoppable section at all times
• Rotate stock and check for expired or near-expiry products to ensure customers receive only fresh items

• Adhere to cold chain compliance standards including thermometer calibration, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, and expiration date monitoring
• Follow food safety protocols including proper sanitation and cleaning procedures throughout the department
• Execute ordering and clearance procedures including markups/markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labelling as required
• Maintain department features and promotional displays
• Keep the area clean, neat, and organized, free from debris, foreign objects, and liquids
