Responsibilities

In this role, your day-to-day tasks will revolve around maintaining a well-stocked, safe, and clean Dairy and Frozen department. From managing product rotation to enforcing food safety standards, your work directly impacts customer satisfaction and store performance.

• Zone the department regularly to keep products organized and easy for customers to find
• Rotate stock and check for expired products to ensure everything on the shelves is fresh and safe
• Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced in accordance with Walmart standards
• Adhere to cold chain compliance procedures including thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follow food safety and handling procedures, including sanitation and cleaning protocols throughout the department
• Execute proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labelling
• Maintain department features to uphold a visually appealing and well-presented product display
• Keep the area clean and organized, free of unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids
