As a Courier Team Lead-2 with Federal Express Corporation Canada (FedEx) in Toronto, ON, you will assist management in overseeing daily sort, delivery, and pickup activities, including remote domicile location/feeder operations where applicable. You will lead the sector as assigned, support best practices, and help ensure effective day-to-day operations.

About the role: Courier Team Lead-2
The Courier Team Lead-2 supports operational performance by helping coordinate daily activities across the assigned sector. You will assist with priorities in a time-sensitive environment, help guide team execution, and contribute to maintaining consistent processes and service standards.
You will motivate, coach, and train employees on the job while ensuring you remain current with training and process updates. The role also requires working shifts based on business needs and maintaining required certifications and annual accreditations where applicable.

Requirements / Skills
High school diploma or equivalent
One (1) year current Courier experience (required)
Valid driver’s licence with a good driving record
Ability to complete and maintain required training, including DG specialist certification and yearly recurrency training
Remain current with training in BP and defensive driver/process updates
Good understanding of FedEx products, features of service, and general operations
Ability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
Some knowledge of FedEx operations and Canadian Customs regulations (asset)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate, coach, and train
Ability to prioritize and delegate in time-sensitive situations
Excellent interpersonal/customer relations skills; analytical and problem-solving skills; team player
Driving roles require a valid licence (e.g., Class 5, G, or 1[AZ]) and a driving record with two or fewer violations/accidents in the 24 months prior to application (as stated)
If residing in Quebec, must be bilingual (French and English) (as stated)
