This is an interview position based out of 985 Moodie Dr, Nepean, ON. You’ll be out on an assigned route every day, connecting customers with their shipments and representing the FedEx brand with professionalism and care. About the Role: Courier

As a FedEx Courier, your primary responsibility is the courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages along your assigned route. You’ll inspect shipments for compliance with Federal Express Canada features of service and handle customer service interactions as part of your daily duties. Responsibilities

As a FedEx Courier in Nepean, your day is centred around delivering packages efficiently and professionally while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. Each responsibility below plays a direct role in ensuring customers receive their shipments accurately and on time — which is the heartbeat of what FedEx does.

  • Pick up and deliver packages along an assigned route in a courteous and timely manner
  • Inspect all shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service before and during delivery
  • Provide customer service functions including addressing inquiries and resolving delivery issues on the spot
  • Operate a company vehicle safely and in accordance with FedEx driving standards and provincial regulations
  • Handle packages with care, including lifting up to 70 lbs and manoeuvring items up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups using FedEx systems in a PC Windows environment
  • Adapt to varying schedules based on business needs, including holidays and different shift patterns
  • Complete all mandatory training and recurrence certifications as required by FedEx Canada

Requirements / Skills

FedEx is looking for a dependable, physically capable individual with a strong customer service mindset and a clean driving record. The ideal candidate brings a professional attitude to every interaction, manages their time effectively, and can handle the physical and logistical demands of a courier role with confidence and composure.

  • Valid driver’s licence (e.g., Class G or equivalent) with no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months
  • High school diploma or educational equivalent required
  • Physical capability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with proper equipment
  • Customer service experience of at least one year in a customer-oriented business (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
  • Time management and organisational skills to handle a busy route efficiently
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Canadian Customs regulations and FedEx Canada operations is considered an asset
  • Must successfully complete pre-placement driver assessment training at the required threshold
