About the role: Cashier Assistant

The Cashier Assistant role is central to delivering Costco’s promise of exceptional member service. You will assist in packing member orders into boxes, transferring them to carts or flatbeds, and ensuring items are scanned and packed safely. You’ll also help with cart retrieval, front-end cleanliness, and supporting promotions.

Team members are expected to follow all safety and security procedures, handle register supplies and merchandise requests promptly, and provide courteous, helpful service to all members. Occasional assistance in other departments may also be required to support warehouse operations.

Requirements / Skills

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No prior experience required—training provided.
