AWS Solutions Architect, Commercial Sector – Amazon – Toronto, ON

You’ll drive revenue growth by helping organizations adopt AWS services and guide them in implementing advanced cloud-based solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact while working in a supportive and innovative environment.
In this position, you will build deep relationships with customers, support their digital transformation journeys, and contribute to internal and customer-facing publications. You’ll have the opportunity to travel within the city or province and occasionally to the United States for training. Key Responsibilities
- Build deep relationships with customers as a trusted advisor for their cloud journey.
- Support revenue growth through the adoption of AWS services.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to AWS publications.
- Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support to address customer needs.
- Travel within the city/province and occasionally to the United States for training.
Compensation & Benefits

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a technical solutions architect role.
- Experience designing and implementing distributed applications, databases, and networks.
- 1-2+ years of exposure to public cloud technologies.
- Client-facing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications (AWS Tech Essentials, AWS SA Associate, AWS SA Professional).
- Pre-sales experience and/or experience contributing to requests for proposals.
- Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
Working Conditions
This role is based in Toronto, ON, with options for a flexible, hybrid work model. You’ll work with clients across Canada, with occasional travel for training and customer meetings.
