Benefits and Salary

UPS offers a highly competitive compensation package for this role. Red Seal Licensed Technicians earn $42.29 per hour, while apprentices are compensated on a tiered scale: Level 1 at $18.34, Level 2 at $21.80, Level 3 at $24.87, Level 4 at $26.50, and Level 5 at $29.43 per hour. Pay increases automatically under the union Collective Agreement. You’ll be paid every Friday via direct deposit. Responsibilities

As an Automotive Technician at UPS, your daily work directly supports the reliability of one of Canada’s most active logistics networks. Every vehicle you repair or inspect helps ensure on-time deliveries and the safety of UPS drivers across Victoria and beyond.

  • Repair all UPS vehicles, including delivery trucks, heavy-duty machinery, on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections to proactively identify and address mechanical issues before they become costly problems
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex systems including hydraulic brakes, electronic components, and engines
  • Ensure timely maintenance of the fleet so vehicles are always ready for daily operations
