About the Role

As an Area Manager II, you will be responsible for engaging, mentoring, and motivating your team to achieve business goals. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional support teams and oversee critical aspects such as safety, productivity, quality, and delivery promises. The role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and motivate a team of hourly associates.
• Manage safety, quality, and productivity standards within the fulfillment center.
• Collaborate with teams including Safety, Engineering, HR, Loss Prevention, and Quality Assurance to develop and execute operational plans.
• Ensure customer orders are delivered on time and to the correct location.
• Perform physical tasks as needed, including lifting up to 49 pounds, standing/walking for long shifts, and climbing stairs.
• Adapt to varying noise levels, temperatures, and warehouse conditions.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, OR 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
