Customer Practice Manager – AWS Professional Services, Canada
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services team is looking for Customer Practice Managers (CPM) who can lead customer programs that accelerate business outcomes. The CPM is a trusted advisor who generates strategic and financial value for customers through the promotion and delivery of transformational cloud services. In this role, you will build long-term relationships with clients, develop service agreements, and ensure delivery excellence across your assigned accounts.
AWS Professional Services supports the largest and fastest-growing accounts in the public and private sectors. This is a customer-facing role that requires up to 50% travel to client sites. You will drive customer transformations by aligning business objectives with cloud technologies to ensure customer success.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, the Customer Practice Manager will:
- Drive strategic roadmaps that accelerate customer transformation and deliver short-term gains while focusing on long-term objectives.
- Lead business outcomes by articulating the value of AWS cloud services to senior business and technology leaders.
- Develop unified account and pursuit plans that align with AWS account teams.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships across business and technology groups.
- Collaborate with internal AWS teams including Sales, Legal, Finance, and Global Services to meet customer objectives.
- Negotiate and close deals that align customer goals with AWS Professional Services business objectives.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of management consulting and IT experience with business and product transformation knowledge.
- Proven record of selling professional services at scale ($7.5M+ annually) with recurring revenue streams.
- Business development experience with complex agreements, including compliance and security standards.
- Fluency in English and French if based in Montréal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with structured sales methodologies like MEDDPICC or MEDDIC.
- Vertical industry experience in cloud services sales and delivery.
- International sales and delivery experience with global F500 enterprise customers and partners.
